Why is June Pride Month?
June is LGBTQIA+ Pride Month to remember the Stonewall Riots that happened on June 28th in 1969 when police raided the Stonewall Inn. The Stonewall Inn was a popular place for the lgbt community to meet in New York City's Greenwich Village. The people at Stonewall fought back against the police this time for the disseminating raid.
