Making a Custom Postcard on Zazzle
Well today's video will be good for those just wanting to make a postcard on Zazzle with their own artwork or photographs, or for Zazzle sellers who make commission from selling on Zazzle.
1. Sign into your Zazzle account. If you don't have one, make one now. If you want to sell postcards and make commission then make a designers account.
2. Click on the "Edit Design" in the upper right hand corner. This will take you to a template page to design your postcard.
3. On the left hand side you will see "my files." Click on that and then click on "upload images." Then you can upload whatever pics are on your computer that you want to put on the front of your postcard.
4. Once your photo is uploaded you can use the right hand side buttons to enlarge it, make it smaller, move it around until you get it how you like it. There is also "filters" on that side if you want to change it to black and white.
5. Back on the left side on the top there is a "Text" button. Click that to add text. And again on the right hand sign you will see plus and minus signs, along with font styles, so you can edit the text until you like how it looks.
6. Once you have the front of the postcard how you like it, you can click on "layers." It is on the left hand side towards the bottom. Then click on "back." Now you can add whatever you want to the back of the postcard just like you did the front. I usually just add "To and From" on there. But design however you'd like!
7. Now you are basically done! On the left hand side you can check the views of your postcard to make sure everything is centered and you like the picture and text. Then on the left side you can pick if you want an envelope included with your postcard, if you want it to be matte or gloss and if you want to remove the Zazzle logo from the back of the postcard.
8. Once you are sure you like it how it is, then just add it to your cart if you are a customer and you are done! If you want to sell postcards to make commission then click on "sell it'.
9. Once you click on "sell it", then you will be taken to a page where you put in the title, description, categories and commission rates for your product. Fill all that out then click on the bottom asking if you have the right to sell this postcard. They want to make sure you are using your own items and not copyrighted items. Once you click that you are done, your item is now for sale!
10. Make sure to click on the link one more time to view your item you just put up for sale. Under your item will be social media sharing buttons. Click on those to share your items! Not only will you get commission for selling your own items but if you share them you will also get a referral fee. You can also share other people's products to get a referral and commission fee too!
